Mission Statement
The Northern California Academy of Osteopathy (NCAO) is an
(nonprofit) organization committed to providing opportunities for education,
professional development, networking and service for osteopathic physicians who
specialize practice in neuromusculoskeletal medicine (NMM) and osteopathic
manipulative medicine (OMM) in order to build a stronger community of
competent, highly skilled and compassionate osteopathic practitioners
clinicians dedicated to keeping alive the science, art, spirit and philosophy
of osteopathy. Academy members will shall consist of osteopathic physicians
(DOs), osteopathic medical students, allopathic physicians (MDs), international
clinicians and other supporters of osteopathy.
